UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. – Restaurant burglars came up empty in University City and end up getting punked in a new video on social media.Surveillance video shows three suspects breaking the front door glass of Diego’s Cantina just before 12:30 a.m. on March 14, hopping over the bar, and rifling through everything in an apparent search for cash. The restaurant’s owners are now using that surveillance video to send a message right back to the criminals, adding a few touches of their own, including music from the song, “Notorious Thugs,” and super-sarcastic captions like, “Nope – we don’t keep cash in our drawer.” The video highlights $2 the burglars left behind on the floor with the caption, “Oh wait, you missed $2.” Top story: St. Louis car wash customers upset over monthly bills “$2 fell out. I guess it was leftover tips from someone or some extra change. It was just on the ground,” said Natasha Kwan, who owns the restaurant with her husband. “They didn’t even see it. On the new episode of “South Park,” which aired Wednesday night, Cartman and Kenny decide to renovate and reopen a historic Colorado restaurant – “a place where people from all over Colorado would come and see!” Cartman gushes. The plot sounds a lot like what’s happening in the real lives of the show’s creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who purchased famed eatertainment venue Casa Bonita in 2021 and are on the precipice of its grand reopening in May.The episode, however, isn’t about Casa Bonita. Instead, Cartman has the genius idea to reimagine the place he and his mom have been living for several seasons now: The Coney Island Hotdog stand, based not so subtly on the sausage-and-bun-shaped Coney Island Boardwalk restaurant in Bailey.Last year, Stone and Parker told The Denver Post they had considered saving the Coney Island Boardwalk the same way they did Casa Bonita, but “we just can’t take on another broken restaurant project right now.”Still, that didn’t stop the duo from living...How Sean Payton convinced Samaje Perine to join Broncos, embrace backfield partnership with Javonte Williams

Perine agreed the next day to a two-year deal worth up to $7.5 million and explained to The Post this week why he thought it was “the right time for me branch out and try to establish myself somewhere else,” after four seasons in Cincinnati.“What it came down to, really, was how up front Denver was with me as far as playing time and what Coach Payton wants to do with me, personally, and what he wants to do as an offense,” Perine said Thursday, adding he heard from several teams when he hit free agency. “The first time I talked with Coach Payton when everything opened up — that first day — the thing he really emphasize...2 seriously hurt as Sun Valley apartment complex burns

In recent years, there has been an increase in societal conversations about sex education, gender expression and norms, body positivity, and consent. The internet and social media have democratized access to resources about topics previously considered taboo and inappropriate. This access has allowed individuals to educate themselves and learn from the experiences of others, opening up conversations about these issues. Younger generations have also played a significant role in driving these conversations forward as they are often more open and accepting of diverse gender and sexual identities.Despite the progress, an authentic and elevated conversation around sex education can still be challenging for many people due to prevailing norms and stigmas. Open conversations about the nuances of sex education are necessary to help demystify taboos, promote safety, and set the foundation for a healthy and fulfilling sex life. To this point, there is a growing movement of holistic sex and in...Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on Taylor Street [Vista, CA]

Published Sun, 01 Dec 2024 03:12:34 GMT
Cannabis operators have faced the short end of the stick time and time again in the legal marketplace, but leaning back on the Drug War tactics of prohibition is never the answer. The plague of operators who have never smoked heat in their lives bashing people who never got the shot they wanted in the marketplace continues to grow. Most of the time, the people taking these shots at the traditional underground market are well-funded operators. They use “enforcement of the law” as a catch-all phrase to narc on the streets from state to state. The lack of enforcement, as they see it, is the root of their headaches. This is regardless of their product quality. It’s a lot easier to blame someone else to your investors. Those who have been participating in cannabis markets the longest have become the target of that ire. In the worst circumstances, they’d try and convince you all the cannabis grown outside of the legal marketplace is loaded with pesticides that will kill you and sold to yo...Dimness of BART station called a factor in fatal dragging of passenger

The woman then stepped back out of the car — witnesses said she was apparently waving to someone on the platform — and the dog remained inside. When the doors closed on the leash and the train...Latest news
