Why boost in Chesapeake Bay grasses is good news for crab lovers

The grasses in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay play a big role in the survival strategies of blue crabs, and a recent survey shows the number of acres of bay grasses is up 12%.That’s good news for the life cycle of blue crabs — and for people who like to eat them. Lillard had told the team that he wanted a chance to contend for a title; the Blazers have won only four playoff series in his 11 seasons and missed the playoffs in each of the last two years by wide margins.“I’m hopeful that at least talks will initiate since they’re all going to be in one place,” Goodwin said. “That’s my...

Japanese drugmaker Eisai received conditional approval in January based on early results suggesting Leqembi worked by clearing a sticky brain plaque linked to the disease. The FDA confirmed those results by reviewing data from a larger, 1,800-patient study in which the drug slowed memory and thinking decline by about five months in those who got the treatment, compared to those who got a dummy drug.“Helplessness is steadily giving way to hope,” Cathy Barrick, CEO of the Alzheimer Society of Ontario, said in a statement on Thursday. &#...
