New lands, rides, or attractions, based on “Black Panther,” “Frozen” and “Coco,” could come to life at the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney Co. executives teased during an investor summit in Florida this week.Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro talked about the possibility of bringing Frozen’s Arendelle, Black Panther’s Wakanda and Coco’s Santa Cecilia to life in some capacity at the “Happiest Place on Earth” and potentially its sister park in Orlando.“We have a wealth of untapped stories to bring to life across our business,” D’Amaro said. Several Bay Area counties have issued new masking mandates for health care workers as officials confront seasonal upticks in the rates of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses such as influenza.Health officials in the counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo and Sonoma issued orders this week requiring health care personnel to wear masks in hospitals, skilled-nursing facilities, surgery centers and other facilities where patients receive care indoors.
