(AP) — Wide receiver Yulkeith Brown scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 9-yard run five seconds into the fourth quarter and Tulane rallied for a 31-21 victory over Memphis on Friday night.The Green Wave (5-1, 2-0 American Athletic Conference) trailed 21-17 when Brown scored — one play after he hauled in a pass from Michael Pratt for a 29-yard gain on third-and-12. A disturbing trend in Prince George’s County, Maryland, is now on the police department’s radar after Latino construction workers have been robbed at gunpoint of their tools and money on job sites.“These are individuals out here making a living. They’re out there working in the sun and in the cold, and you have individuals taking advantage of them,” said Capt. An attempted carjacking took a violent turn as a Lauderdale Lakes man was ambushed and stabbed while sitting inside his car. The incident, captured in surveillance video released by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit, unfolded on Thursday, Sept. 21, shortly before 5 p.m. The video depicts the assailant approaching the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle, which was parked in the 4000 block of Northwest 34th Street. “A Lauderdale Lakes man was ambushed by an attempted carjacker while he was just sitting in his car,” said Miranda Grossman with BSO. With the victim’s car window rolled down, the attacker demanded the car keys. Federal authorities made an alarming arrest on Friday following a disturbing phone call to the FBI’s field office in Miami.The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office has charged 52-year-old Maximo De La Cruz-De Jesus with making deadly threats.Agents said he called the Miami FBI field office and said he was going to commit a mass shooting at an upcoming concert.Authorities said De La Cruz-De Jesus also made vague references that he was being harassed by Jewish people.FBI officials said this was the same man who was arrested back in 2014 for drawing swastikas on a synagogue in Miami Beach.Latest news
