NORTHERN ITALY (WSVN) — An Italian llama made its mark on the Guinness World Records after he jumped to new heights.Boateng de Oro was on the Italian TV show Lo Show Dei Record Tuesday when his owner, a Guinness official, and the nation witnessed the incredible leap at 4 feet, 3 inches (1.30 meters). The talented camelid jumped over a wooden bar without touching it which broke the world record for the highest jump made by a llama that was set eight years ago by Caspa the Llama.Walter Mair, Boateng’s owner, lives with his record-breaking llama on his family farm in Soprabolzano, northern Italy, where they breed Arabian thoroughbreds, llamas and alpacas. Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate 16-year-old Raziah Peterson missing from Pompano Beach.According to detectives, Peterson was last seen at around 8:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 16, in the 1300 block of Northwest 18th Drive in Pompano Beach. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and unknown color pants. Peterson is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. SAN DIEGO -- A woman was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Lemon Grove on Wednesday, authorities said.According to the San Diego Sheriff's Department, deputies were called out to a traffic crash at Broadway and Harris Street around 12:30 p.m. Authorities say upon arrival they found a 40-year-old woman who had been hit by a truck in the street. A Toronto man is facing charges after an alleged historical sexual assault dating back to 2003 at an Ontario deaf camp near Parry Sound.Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confirmed that investigators with West Parry Sound OPP began looking into the allegations in February 2023.Authorities noted that the sexual assault occurred in August 2003 at The Bob Rumball Camp of the Deaf in Seguin Township.Police identified 54-year-old Steve Burrows of Toronto as the accused, who would have been 34 years old at the time of the alleged sexual assault at the camp.It’s unclear if the Toronto man was working at the camp.Burrows is facing multiple charges, including sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
