SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- From Chat GPT to self driving cars, artificial intelligence is everywhere. A new exhibit at the Museum of Innovation and Science in Schenectady shows just how fast AI can evolve and how we can better understand its future. “Getting people comfortable with the idea that this technology exists and that this is a tool to be harnessed and utilized," Gina Gould, president and CEO of the Museum of Innovation and Science, said. ARGYLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were arrested after one allegedly fled a traffic stop, ensuing a police-involved car chase in Argyle. On Tuesday, around 4:10 p.m., troopers stopped a car near Elm Street in Argyle for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Troopers identified the driver as Williamson and say he didn't have a valid driver's license.Troopers say the passenger provided false identification but was later identified as Hinds. As Williamson was removed from the car, troopers say he was found to possess a controlled substance. (NEWS10) -- A registered sex offender from Schenectady pleaded guilty on Monday to attempting to entice a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity, as well as committing a felony offense involving a minor while required to register as a sex offender. According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Peters admitted that between October 2 and October 7, 2020, he initiated and exchanged sexually explicit messages with an undercover law enforcement agent posing as a 14-year-old child. The DOJ says after Peters learned the apparent child was 14 years old, he repeatedly asked the minor for nudes and live images.According to the DOJ, Peters also asked the minor to meet him on several occasions and discussed engaging in various sexual acts with the minor when they met. WARRENSBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Warrensburg woman was arrested after causing a three-vehicle crash while having a blood alcohol content four times the legal limit. On June 3 at 3:40 p.m., state troopers responded to the area of State Route 9 in Warrensburg on the report of a three-car crash with injuries. The investigation revealed that Charon was driving a vehicle northbound when she struck a parked car, pushing it into a second parked vehicle. The first car that was struck was occupied by a child, who sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
