SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Massachusetts-based brewery is set to open a new location in Saratoga Springs. Tree House Brewing Company is opening a brewery and taproom across from the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC). "This history aligns with our passion and support for music and the arts in ways we almost find too good to be true. To say that we are excited to become a part of the community would be an understatement."Tree House said it bought the property on Route 9 across from SPAC and will be building the new facility there. FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The trial for Kevin Monahan will now begin in 2024. According to Tony Jordan, Washington County District Attorney, jury selection will begin on Jan. 8, 2024. Anaheim Police Department officers fatally shot a woman who was armed with a BB or pellet gun that resembled "a legitimate firearm" Sunday morning, police said. Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Anaheim Boulevard at about 9 a.m. for reports of a person armed with a rifle, the APD said in an Instagram post.Police found and confronted Abigail Lopez, 20, who had "a BB or pellet gun that resembled a legitimate short-barrel assault weapon," police said.At least one officer opened fire, striking Lopez, who was taken to a local hospital, where she died, police said. Police did not detail the events leading up to the shooting, but they did confirm officers recovered the BB gun at the scene.
