Man shot, killed as Vallejo police search for suspect

VALLEJO, Calif. (BCN) -- Vallejo police investigators are looking for a suspect responsible for shooting and killing a man Thursday afternoon. It is Vallejo's third homicide of the year. Pedestrian hospitalized in Union City collision; driver linked to disturbance at Starbucks A Vallejo police spokesperson said officers responded at about 3:15 p.m. to a report of a person shot in the 2000 block of Solano Avenue. Once on scene, officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics soon arrived, but the victim was pronounced dead. The department's detective division has taken over the investigation. The motive and circumstances surrounding this shooting are under investigation. The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Coroner's Office. (KDVR) — Matthew Jamison purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado at an impound lot in order to find a good deal. "The car was inoperable. So it had engine problems and I am a mechanic, so I installed the engine," he said. Jamison registered the truck and the title but got a surprise several months later. A tow company repossessed the truck late at night. Jamison contacted the police. “I thought, is my truck stolen?” he said. ‘Just cause’ eviction bill passes Colorado House The repossession was ordered by an Indiana-based finance company that had paperwork showing the truck had a lien from a previous owner, but it was a mistake. “They weren’t going to notify me, you know.
