MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo - Some people are noticing gardens and fruit trees are producing fewer blooms than normal. Summertime means picking strawberries, eating peaches fresh from the tree, and picking blackberries from the vine, but this year looks a little different."Our strawberry crop was really poor this year, and I think there is a lot of variables," said Andy Welle with Thies Farm and Market in Maryland Heights. "Water was one, the cold was one, the plants got to us a little later last year. But they're still picking. They're still blooming. We're going to get a few berries out of it. But the main crop is gone."He said below-average rainfall is impacting the growth of some crops. In-N-Out Burger poised for major expansion, including in Missouri "We've actually been watering constantly as soon as we get stuff planted. Like we've got here today," Welle said. "Cantaloupes and watermelons actually went in yesterday, and the water is actually on them right now just to keep them goi...Last place Cardinals playing like a first place team

ST. LOUIS – We are in the middle of a major global pattern change. We are moving from our third La Nina year to an El Niño pattern. And there are some indications that this pattern could be what’s called a Super Niño. That sounds pretty ominous – and it could be.The last Super Niño pattern was in 2016, and we saw the warmest global temperature on record. It also could bring a heightened risk of droughts and floods and stronger storms. However, it could also bring a quieter hurricane season. But what does that all mean to St. Louis? Let’s dive into it.JuneWe begin June a bit behind the eight ball. April and May have trended dry and our yearly average for rainfall is running a little bit short. The drought severity across Missouri is heightened just a bit because of this. So, we need rain.Ask your lawn or garden. I’ve seen more sprinklers running in the last few weeks because of this. I think the dry pattern of the last few weeks will continue into June. Jamal Murray sized up The King and decided he wasn’t afraid of the crown.Already on a torrid run of devastating daggers, Murray hoisted one more in LeBron James’ face, burying a 30-foot 3-pointer to whip Ball Arena into a chaotic frenzy Thursday night. Murray’s scintillating 23-point fourth quarter built the Nuggets a double-digit lead, and it took everything they had not to squander it amid egregious turnovers. The Nuggets, though, owe no apologies. Initial observations from the Nuggets’ Game 2 comeback win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.1. Murray makes them when it matters. Jamal Murray started the night shooting 3 for 15 from the field, but a point guard with his confidence never stops trying. He flipped a switch in the second half after the Nuggets fell behind by 10, making his next seven shots. The biggest was a beginning-of-the-end knife when Denver needed it most. On a night when Michael Malone had used Nikola Jokic for heavy minutes, the two-time MVP was finally getting a breather early in the fourth quarter. The Lakers couldn’t buy a bucket during that stretch, but after the Nuggets had weathered most of the storm already, Murray drilled a step-back three over Anthony Davis to put Denver ahead 87-83. While Murray never relented, Davis disappeared. He shot 4 for 15 after a 40-point Game 1.2. Rui ruins everything early.
